Your new meeting assistant.

Your new meeting assistant.

I’m and avid follower of the Lifehacker blog, I tend to check it daily.  Today they posted an article about a new service designed to make scheduling meetings easier, so of course I had to check it out right away.  The service is called Assistant.to and after a quick play I think it’s a perfect companion for GoToMeet.Me and GoToMeeting in general.  You can read all about it here on Lifehacker.com

  1. Another great service I use is TimeTrade. You can add your customized link to an email or send it to someone, and it let’s someone click the link and be taken to a calendar that shows your available times. It syncs with your Outlook to automatically block out times you are not available and let’s you block times that you wish to not meet. Once someone schedules a meeting with you using your link, you get a calendar invite and so does your attendee. You can pre-populate the invitation to include a recurring GoToMeeting invitation as well as a customized message. I have used it for 2 years and it saves the back and forth of choosing availability! http://www.timetrade.com is their site. and it is a relatively inexpensive annual fee. It’s great to add to your email signature, website, newsletter, etc.. Great tool!
