Keynote and GoToMeeting

Keynote and GoToMeeting

Here’s a quick tip for those of you planning to use Keynote during your GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar or GoToTraining session.

Start Keynote and open it’s Preferences, select Slide Show and enable Allow Expose, Dashboard and others to use screen..

Enabling: Allow Expose...

With this change made you can now run Keynote in full screen mode while sharing your screen via GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar or GoToTraining. The down side to running Keynote in full screen mode is that it hides the GoToMeeting side panel, if you have a second monitor connected to your Mac however, you can simply drag the side panel on to it.

  1. wow great tip, i read the post again. i missed the part about two monitors one for full screen presentation and the other for the side panel box. i never thought of that. i am going to try it. thanks again.

  2. Thanks for the help, I had to run my webinar in preview mode, which was a little embarrassing but it did the trick. Next time I’m using your advice though and it will be allll good. I really appreciate you writing this and have an awesome rest of your week!
